Team Chat

All student athletes, coaches and parents are invited to join after completing registration and will need to use a personal Gmail or an existing email by creating a non-Gmail Google account (See Below).

If you were a member of the team last year, you can open the app and sign in. If you are new to the team or changed your email from the previous year, we will get you added as quickly as possible. If your having trouble getting signed in or joining a space please Contact Us.

Download the App

Download the Google Chat App for iOS or Android.
Sign-in with your personal Google account used to register with the team.
Make sure your Google account contains the correct spelling for your first and last name.

1.) Select New Chat

2.) Browse spaces

3.) Join each space

Replying to Conversations: Please use the Quote in reply as this posts your response directly into the main chat, and includes a visible copy of the original message so everyone knows exactly what you are answering.

The Reply in thread is a little different and starts a separate side-conversation attached to a specific message. This keeps the main chat area uncluttered, but can be harder to find if your not familiar with how to use Threads.

Using a non-Gmail email address to create a Google account

Using Google services like Chat, Gmail, Youtube, Photos, etc requires a google account. In many cases users already have a Gmail email address, which is a google account. If you don't have a Gmail address you can use a non-Gmail e.g. hotmail, icloud, yahoo or a custom domain email to create a Google Account and use this account to sign in while maintaining your existing email address. Note: The student ISD194 Google accounts are not enabled for Google Chat.

To create a Google Account using a non-Gmail email address:

Go to the Google Account Sign In page
Select Create account
Select For my personal use
Enter your first and last name
Select Use my current email address instead
Enter your non-Gmail email address
Create a password and confirm it
Google will send a verification code to your email
Enter the verification code and click Verify
You can now sign into Google Chat or any other Google service using your non-Gmail Google account.
